Bladder Stone


A 38 years old gentleman presented with History of sudden inability to pass urine. He had a history of poor stream and intermittent start and stopping of stream. Patient was catheterized. Reports showed a large bladder stone. Laser Cystolithotripsy of the Stone was done. Patient is voiding comfortably now.

An elderly gentleman with quadriplegia, presented with recurrent catheter blockage and sepsis. On investigations patient had Bladder stone. Laser cystolithotripsy was planned. Endoscopy revealed egg shell like stone which had formed around the catheter due to long-term presence of  catheter. Patient is now on suprapubic catheterization after cystolithotripsy.
