A 60 old gentleman came with 3 cm large bladder calculus and Grade 3 prostatomegaly.He was taken up for LASER cystolithotripsy and LASER prostatectomy in the single sitting.
We used Holmium -yttrium-Aluminum -Garnet LASER fir stone pulverisation. The safety and efficacy of the Holmium LASER has been proven obviating the need of open cystolithotomy even in large calculi.
