A 10 y mentally challenged boy was brought with complaints of near-total mutilation of glans penis, most likely due to chronic self-inflicted injury (strangulation of glans with his own hair). after releasing the constriction, The glans was viable and the meatus was at distal penile urethra. As his stream was good and the meatal calibre was normal, he was advised regular follow up.
